Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be a key contributor in selling BrainOS-enabled robots in APAC. The BDM will develop sales and channel strategies based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support our OEM Partners sales efforts
  • Reach or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Establish and cultivate new relationships and sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Build partnerships with key companies (OEMs, BSC’s and Retailers) in the Cleaning industry
  • Work closely with Account Management, Deployment, Service and other support departments
  • The BDM is expected to approach potential end-users directly and promote the BrainOS robotic operative system as an industry standard. The BDM is expected to create strong “pull” for a robotic cleaning solution from end-users towards the BSCs and OEMs.
  • The BDM is expected to play a very active role in the sales process of OEMs towards BSCs and end-users. In this roll the BDM will act as a facilitator and very actively drive both end-user, BSC and OEM towards a final conclusion of a sale.
  • The measure of success for the BDM will the number of BrainOS licenses activated per year.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales executive experience in a business to business environment of solution driven sales
  • 7+ years of previous experience as a sales executive dealing with direct and in-direct sales
  • Proven record of being able to close large complex deals with large international corporations
  • Background in Cleaning Industry Sales
  • Mechanically inclined as well as able to understand and work with software
  • Proven Key Account Management skills which must include the ability to Identify, communicate, present and influence all relevant levels of our customers’ organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as English
  • Strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Based around Australia (Greater Sydney area)
