We at Brain Corp are a team of robot enthusiasts who are on a mission to develop robotic and AI solutions to enable organizations and their employees to achieve more.
Founded in 2009, Brain Corp is an autonomous technology company creating transformative solutions in robotics and AI. With over 35,000 autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) deployed globally, our autonomy software, BrainOS®, is enhancing productivity, efficiency and safety across commercial spaces like retail stores, schools, warehouses and more.
Through innovation and strategic partnerships, Brain Corp pioneers the commercial robotics domain, envisioning a future where robots are as common as computers and mobile phones.
As Brainiacs, we are passionate about inventing the future – and believe the best ideas have yet to be imagined! We foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion as we work together toward a common vision. We display integrity and hold ourselves to high ethical standards. This shared purpose fuels our core values and guides us every day.
We put customers at the center of everything we do. We listen,
respond with urgency, and exceed their expectations.
We embrace a growth mindset and constantly seek new ways to improve.
We favor proactivity, swift execution, and calculated risks.
We are passionate and resilient. We channel challenges and adversity into growth opportunities.
We contribute to that world by creating software that transforms everyday machines into autonomous solutions that support people in dynamic public spaces like grocery stores, retail stores, airports, hospitals, malls, universities, and more.
Our journey started with a team of computational neuroscientists providing research services to technology firms, including Qualcomm. Guided by Dr. Eugene Izhikevich, our team was dedicated to exploring AI inspired by the intricacies of the human brain.
Dr. Eugene Izhikevich set out on his mission to launch a company focused on bringing robots everywhere. He recognized the best way to realize this vision was to build a software operating system and then partner with other companies, each one focusing on their own type of robot, but each one using the software.
September 22, 2014, marked the debut of the Brain Operating System - BrainOS. This system represented a breakthrough in robot programming - inspired by a deep understanding of how biological brains learn from demonstration.
The unveiling of EMMA (Enabling Mobile Machine Automation) in 2017 marked a significant achievement in commercial cleaning technology. By automating manual equipment, EMMA not only redefined efficiency but also earned ISSA Interclean's prestigious 'Innovation of the Year' award.
Our collaboration began with Walmart, which involved equipping a few hundred stores with BrainOS-powered autonomous scrubbers. The success of this initial deployment quickly led to a full nationwide deployment across all Walmart stores, showcasing the effectiveness and scalability of our platform.
